We organise regular trips to Nympsfield where the Bristol and Gloucestershire Gliding Club (BGGC) is based. There we have access to a large number of aircraft and instructors, as well as a fantastic ridge from which we can soar throughout the year.
The Bristol University Gliding Club is only £20 to join; we no longer require you to purchase a Sports & Health pass. Trial flights are £40 and include a 20 to 30 minute flight as well as 3 months of free membership to BGGC. After your first flight, training flights are from £9 each. The gliders in which you will learn to fly will have dual controls, so you will be trained on how to fly the glider with feedback from your instructor who will be seated behind you.
To book a trial flight, please fill in the registration form by clicking here; to book weekend trips, please sign in to view available slots.
