We are a free, impartial advice service for University of Bristol Students. We specialise in academic advice such as appeals, extenuating circumstances and changing course, but you can talk to us about anything.

There are many ways we offer support:

Online: Fill in our Online Enquiry Form or email us on bristolsu-justask@bristol.ac.uk. We can also arrange Video Calls if suitable.

Drop in: We are based on 3rd floor of the Richmond Building on Queens Road in the Student Union Offices.

Our opening hours 10am - 4pm, Monday - Friday.

The Team


Emma joined the team in June 2016 as Team Leader. Among other things, Emma is responsible for managing the team, developing the service and building key relationships with Student groups and University Staff.


 

Will is the longest serving member of the team, joining as an Adviser in 2013. Will works Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursday mornings.

Among other things, Will helps with extenuating circumstances, appeals, dealing with accusations of plagarism, and working out what to do when personal circumstances start affecting your studies.

Amy is the newest member of the team, joining in June 2017. She works Thursdays and Fridays.

Amy is here to help students with issues related to their studies. She can talk to students about appeals, extenuating circusmtances, plagiarism and more. 


Nicky is one of the Just Ask Advisers, joining in May 2015.
She is currently on a Sabbatical and will be back in May 2018.
