  • Feeling ill now? Who to contact right now.
  • If your studies are being affected by something outside your control, then submit an Extenuating Circumstances form in advance of your assessments. Don’t leave it until you receive results to establish if your problems have affected your ability to study. If you feel they have then submit just in case.

We all have lives, families, friends. Things go wrong and life becomes stressful and when this happens it can become difficult to study and do our best whatever the task. Don’t struggle on without telling anybody. Talk to friends, personal tutor, Student CounsellingJust Ask or someone at the Multi-Faith Chaplaincy Centre, for example. You can also check out the University's wellbeing pages.

The information on these pages aims to help with the everyday (and not-so-every day) issues or problems you might face as a student. If we've missed anything out, or you want help with a specific problem: contact a Just Ask adviser.
