The Richmond Building is where Bristol SU calls home. With a buzzing bar, countless events and gigs and a theatre, you’d be forgiven for thinking of the SU as the student’s social hub. Yet, the SU boasts more than just a good social life. It hosts a range of useful services that can help you get to grips with the practical side of university life. Let us introduce to a few key SU services you need to know about.

Balloon Bikes:

Fancy getting yourself some hot wheels? Bristol SU’s new bike scheme offers students the chance to hire a bike for the whole academic year at just £50. Get fit, beat traffic and seriously reduce your carbon footprint. As there are only 75 available, bikes are issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Make sure you don’t miss the chance to nab one when the bike’s go live on the website on 26th September. For more information on the scheme, please click here.

Blackwell’s:

Stay on top of your studies this term and get yourself down to Blackwell’s Bookshop. It’s situated just inside the foyer of the Richmond Building, only a short walk from campus. Blackwell’s offer discounted packages on module reading lists and sell both new and second-hand books. And for those money-savvy returning students, Blackwell’s will buy back your old textbooks too.
