It’s back!

The Varsity Series will once again see our sports teams embracing the rivalry, in a bid to protect their trophy from the grasps of UWE!

This year’s programme is set to be bigger and better than ever! With larger venues and brand new events! For the first time, the Varsity Rugby will take residence in the largest and most prestigious venue in the South West, Ashton Gate Stadium.

This year’s Varsity Series will also see the return of old favourites: basketball, football, rugby and the historic boat race, alongside Darts Night and an all-American pairing of lacrosse and American football.

Varsity Day will see over 1000 athletes competing in 27 sports from Athletics to Ultimate Frisbee - in what is unquestionably the South West’s biggest one day multi-sport event.

This year’s programme will also welcome in two new events, adding a martial arts themed Fight Night to the mix, as well as a Colour Run.

There is so much to get involved with, and all for a brilliant cause. This year our sports teams will be raising money for Above and Beyond through the Ignit10n Varsity Launch

And there are still lots of opportunities for participants! So if you fancy celebrating your own competitive streak, why not join us at the Ignit10n launch or sign up to our 4k Colour Run?

Come and show your support for #WeAreBristol, and #EmbracetheRivalry!
