The first Bristol SU Living Room opened in December 2018 on the fourth floor of Senate House. It brings a little piece of the SU to the heart of campus, giving you a space to relax, unwind and connect with other students. It’s a space for all students, no matter what year you’re in, what subject you study, where you’re from, or who you hang out with. It is your space to enjoy, so make yourself at home.
This year the SU Living Room will look a little different due to COVID-19 safety precautions. There will be a room capacity and reduced furniture. We won't be hosting events for the timebeing and we will be removing the books.
Usually there is a weekly programme of student led activities, lots of different games from foosball to ping pong, board games and books, space to relax and catch up with friends, or to sit, eat your lunch and take in the amazing panoramic views. All events are totally opt-in and unobtrusive, so if you want to chill or meet a friend in the Living Room while and event is on, you’ll still be able to.
