Learning to skydive is far easier than you think! There are two ways in the UK gain your A Licence - this allows you to jump solo. Both courses have their merits and both get you to exactly the same place.
Most students will choose Static Line Progression, or RAPS, as it's the cheaper method. The other option is AFF, which tends to get you qualified faster.
A first jump course for RAPS costs £190 and every subsequent training jump until you qualify is £35. It will take a minimum of 15 jumps to qualidy but most people will qualify at around 20 jumps.
An AFF first jump course costs £340 and each level costs a different ammount. Qualifying will cost about £1400 in total and takes 18 jumps.
