Squash is a great sport for those who have never tried it: fast-paced, a fantastic workout and a great social activity, not to mention being voted the world's healthiest sport by Forbes!
Our club has a great atmosphere with weekly socials, amazing coaches and great players that are keen to get on court and have some fun.

The University of Bristol Squash Club has various teams and commitment levels that can suit anybody. If you fancy becoming a team player then you are looking in the right place. The club is the 5th BUCS (British Universities and Colleges Sport Competition) point earner for the University, with the Women's 1st team ranked 3rd nationally and earning the highest total of BUCS points for the Uni. We offer 3 Women's teams and 4 Men's teams that compete in BUCS and a local league. Our womens 1st team plays in the BUCS Premier League at biannual weekend events, whilst our lower Mens and Womens Teams play in the regional Western Divisions on Wednesday afternoons.
If you're looking to just try a new sport and meet new people, we also offer a social membership. This allows you to play in our Sunday Sessions which are student-run coaching for all levels - beginners, intermediates and elite. These sessions take place right in the centre of the Univeristy's grounds from 1-6pm and are extremely popular for a good workout and a place to socialise.
Another option is to join our Intraumural league. This offers you the chance to play members across the club, when you want to and if you want to. You will be put into leagues of 4-6, and you can contact your opponents to arrange your match when it suits you. This is a great way to improve your match play and get to know the club!
Club Membership - allows members to come to our Sunday sessions and includes intramural leagues for free
Team Membership - For anyone playing for our teams, includes team coaching sessions, match transport and membership at England Squash and Racketball.
Intramural Membership - just includes intramural leagues for 1 year (cannot attend club Sunday sessions/play for the teams)PLEASE SCROLL BELOW TO SEE OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR COSTING OF MEMBERSHIPS. SOCIALS
Just like other sports, every Wednesday we have Sport Socials where we join other teams for their weekly night out.
But unlike some sports, we also have the Annual Christmas Dinner and the End of Year Dinner which are black tie events, usually held in some of the amazing local restaurants and bars Bristol has. It's an amazing night out at the end of term to relax post-exams and enjoy some good food.
Each summer we also run a tour. In 2015 we hit up Croatia for a week and in 2016 we were sunning it up in Portugal! It's an amazing week to finish off the season with your new team and club mates.
