Coronavirus update 25th March 2020

As you will no doubt be aware, most volunteering activities cannot continue in the same way as before due to social distancing measures. However, there are still ways you can make a positive impact.

New challenges have arisen for people who are in self-isolation which require a collective effort to solve.

If you would like to help out in your community, sign up to Can Do Bristol, Bristol City Council’s official volunteering platform to register your interest. You will be added to the list of volunteers the city will be able to call on in the coming weeks and months.

The NHS are looking for Volunteer Responders, you'll see live and local volunteer tasks to pick from nearby.

Sign up for the Bristol SU Volunteering Newsletter and keep an eye on the Facebook page to stay up to date with how to volunteer safely and to hear about remote volunteering opportunities.

Join the Bristol SU coronavirus community group to stay connected with staff and students.

Make sure to keep up to date with NHS and government guidelines to protect yourself and others.
