Volunteer to be a part of organising the Sustainability Conference 2018

The Green Curriculum Team (GCT) is a group of self-appointed students whose primary focus is to increase the awareness and better the understanding of the University’s student body around anything and everything to do with sustainability. The GCT organise a speaker series (including talks and panel discussions) based around the UN's Sustainable Development Goals followed by a student led conference where students present their research, activities, life experiences, work experience or projects they have been involved in that are considered to contribute and/or relate to sustainable development in some way, shape or form.

The team are looking for volunteers to join them in organising the conference and have identified the below roles:
•    Outreach - finding and inviting students to speak on their research - this will require emailing people individually and drafting texts to share on other social platforms; collecting feedback
•    Logistics - sorting out the room booking and supplies for the day; sourcing food for the event; setting up the room on the day; H&S; risk assessment
•    Marketing - in charge of making and sharing event page; E flyers; sorting our ticketing and SU website; promotion of event on relevant social platforms
