We are passionate about helping you to develop alongside your accademic carer be that as part of a club or society, as a course rep, volunteer or committee member or just as an interested student keen to expand your knowledge. We also want to make sure you are recognised for your outstanding achievements though our accreditation and awards schemes.
Training courses and workshops run thoughout the year on a variety of topics including Mental Health First Aid, How to be a Course Rep, Sucessful Campaigning, Safeguarding and much more.
We understand that not everyone has the time to come in and see us, this is why we have created some handy 'How To' Toolkits to help you develop your skills and knowledge in a number of areas be it starting your own society or getting a DBS check.
Our student groups offer a range of talks, forums and networking opportunities throughout the year and you don't even need to be a member of a society to attend. Great examples include the the Engage Cafe, Best of Bristol Lectures, Explore 16', The Richmond Lectures and Mind Your Head speakers series.
Throughout the year we offer students the opportunity to be recognised for their extra curricular achievements through the Change Maker Challenge, Union Awards and Sports Awards.
