The information below relates to bookings during term time only. If you would like to make any bookings during the holidays, please contact the Student Services Team.
Each group that has been given regular weekly bookings should have a login to our online system where you can amend, add notes to, or delete your bookings. For most weeks we hold back Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the Anson Rooms. All other activity spaces are held back on weeknights and weekends.
Please be aware that the Anson Rooms will be used for exams in May & June and so will not be available for bookings. Exact dates to be confirmed.
Any spaces that are left un-booked, can be requested no more than two weeks in advance by any student group. Please contact the Student Services Team by phone on 0117 3318600 if you can see a room that you would like to use. Please note that any room booking that you make will not have any technical support, or additional equipment beyond what is already in the room you book.
We invite student groups to run Special Events in the Anson Rooms and AR2 Bar most nights of the week, and in our Theatre Spaces by request. Smaller events can also be accommodated in the Balloon Bar. To submit a request to use the Richmond Building for a student-led Special Event, please complete this form.
If you have already placed a special event request prior to this date and haven't heard anything then please bear with us whilst we process your enquiry.
Any student can book our music practice rooms free of charge.
We have 3 Music Rooms:
Music Room 1 (Band Room)
Music Room 2 (upright piano)
Music Room 3 (upright piano)
Suggested booking length is 2 hours. Bookings can be made up to 2 weeks in advance. Bookings cannot be made for the same day - if the room is free then it can be used by requesting access from the porters. A contact email address is required for all bookings
Please remember that the key card must be returned to the porters by the end of the booking slot ready for the next person.

If you will not be using the room you have booked please notify us via email at least 24 hours in advance of the event taking place, so that it can be released for others to use. The sign in sheets are monitored with regards to society usage and we will contact you if you have failed to use a room without cancelling it within the 24-hour notice period.
