Charity Retail Volunteer

Details Hide[-]

Shelter Promenade is a bright, spacious charity shop nestled in the bustling community of Gloucester Road. We sell furniture, bric-a-brac, books and lots of high-quality clothing and accessories, across two floors.

We believe everyone has a right to a safe home, and our shop raises vital funds for our fight against homelessness and bad housing in Bristol and across the UK - powered by volunteers like you!

We’ve recently had a makeover and are looking for some amazing volunteers to lend a hand at our shop, to keep it running and looking Ship Shape (and Bristol Fashion), so we can raise as much money as possible and keep providing our essential housing support.

As a volunteer, you could help with...

- Sorting and pricing our lovely donations
- Designing and creating window and in-store displays to help make our shop stand out and look fab
- Mending and customising garments to help us make the most of every donation
- Social media and marketing, getting the word out there about Shelter Promenade and what we do
- Serving customers and greeting the Gloucester Road community

Whatever you’re looking to get out of volunteering, we’d love to hear from you, so if you have something specific in mind or any ideas, please chat to us! You can really make this role yours.

Any time you can spare will make a huge difference in our fight against homelessness and bad housing.

We’d love to welcome you to the Shelter team!
