Who we are:

Empowered Lives is a new charity in Bristol supporting survivors of Domestic Abuse and Violence. Our aims are to support these survivors through pattern changing, building support networks and advocacy. During the COVID0-19 pandemic, the risk for individuals has increased, and so the charity is wokring on creating virtual support packages.

This is a great opportunity to give back to the community, to support the most vulnerable, and to build your own skills. The charity will provide meaningful working opportunities to support your personal and professional development, and will work with you on building this into your CV.

We encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds and are proud to be inclusive.

This role:

This role would be a great fit for somebody seeking a role in Finance or management, and will provide broader transferrable skills and opporutnities for development. As this is a new role, there's real opportunity here to make the role what you want it to be, and we're keen to hear your ideas about how we can make it a success. We've had some really positive initial funding as the charity has grown, but are looking for new charity funds via individuals or groups.

Responsibilities:

-Supporting design of the finance strategy for the next financial year
-Creating fundraising strategy and creative opportunities
-Building awareness across Bristol
-Active fundraising across Bristol
