Our shops play a crucial role in helping Oxfam with its goal of eradicating global poverty. Last year the shop network raised over £20 Million to support people to help themselves out of poverty, as well as allowing Oxfam to respond immediately with life saving aid when disasters strike.
Thanks to our lovely donors from across Bristol, our shop is able to sell a unique range of products to help Oxfam overcome global poverty. We stock clothing, shoes, homewares, books, CDs, vinyl, DVDs and toys, as well as Oxfam's classic fairtrade goods. We also sell selected stock online.
Our volunteers are a wonderful, diverse and committed bunch. Their generous support is critical in enabling Oxfam to reach those that need our help. We are always very happy to welcome new people to our friendly team and we have lots of different roles available in the shop to suit a range of interests. We are particularly interested in how we can reach more people in our community, and make better use of the shop to spread the message about Oxfam's work around the world. Oxfam believes in empowering its volunteers, so when you volunteer with us you will have the opportunity to bring your ideas into the shop and you will be encouraged and supported to learn new skills. We provide references and we can help with travel costs if you are coming from outside the local area.
We won't live with poverty. If you feel the same way we would love to work with you!
