Sue Ryder provides hospice and neurological care for people facing a frightening, life-changing diagnosis. We do whatever we can to be a safety net for our patients and their loved ones at the most difficult time of their lives. We see the person, not the condition.
Volunteering with us is incredibly rewarding
Being a Sue Ryder volunteer is a great way to gain skills, to meet new people, or get involved in your local community. It can also be a very meaningful way of giving something back, and helping others to receive hospice and neurological care.
We welcome everyone – from young people just starting out in the world of work, to individuals with a llifetime of wisdom to share. Our volunteers receive training for the role they choose and ongoing support. Every person’s contribution is valued.
Our network of 450 retail stores represents the charity in many communities and on numerous high-streets and retail parks across the UK. Our shop teams are the friendly faces of our stores. They are made up of staff and volunteers who undertake equally important roles.
