ICT4S is a series of conferences exploring the use of information and communication technologies for sustainability.
The ICT4S conferences bring together leading researchers in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) for Sustainability with government and industry representatives, including decision-makers with an interest in using ICT for sustainability, researchers focusing on ICT effects on sustainability and developers of sustainable ICT systems or applications. Equally important to the conference is the inclusion of the views, processes and constraints that the various groups within the society face when pursuing sustainability through ICT, such as, community engagement for community energy group formation, and activism.
Student Volunteers play a key role in the success of ICT4S by supporting the overall conference and conference attendees. Student volunteers help with the administration of the conference and have the opportunity to meet, interact, and network with leading academic and industrial researchers and practitioners. Such interactions often help shape students’ research direction.
We invite passionate and reliable Student Volunteers to help us run the frist fully virtual ICT4S conference. Being a student volunteer is a great way to meet other students from all over the world that share your interest in ICT for sustainability. We strongly encourage you to use this event to build your professional network.
