For the past 15 years, Temwa have been working with remote communities in Northern Malawi with the aim of reducing poverty and developing self-sufficient, sustainable futures. Where we work, 40% of the population live on less than £1 a day, 16% are HIV-positive and 1 in 3 people struggle to feed themselves each day. To create positive change, Temwa supports integrated, community-led projects in education, health, agriculture, forestry and micro-finance.

Temwa holds various fundraising events and sponsored challenges throughout the year and volunteers are always welcomed with open arms! We are lucky enough to have had some fantastic volunteers over the past few years and we are incredibly grateful for their support. We always endeavour to ensure that volunteers have the best possible experience with Temwa, form new connections and gain valuable experience.
Join us this summer festival season for unforgettable experiences as you make a huge impact.
When communities come together, exciting things happen. Discover community on Temwa’s Festival Tour as you volunteer on daily shifts on our info points, lost and found, and phone charging stations, hang-out together, and enjoy free access to top UK festivals!
By joining Temwa’s Festival Tour and helping run our stalls you will get:
Festival volunteers will pay a refundable deposit (a single deposit if doing multiple festivals) and must be available for set-up and pack down surrounding the event dates (see full dates required on site below). Temwa will also provide training before the festivals at our Bristol offices.
We are so excited to be back at some of our favourite festivals manning info points, phone charging and lost property. We’d love you to join us for more than one festival if you can.
Make a difference while you get to see some of your favourite bands and soak in that festival atmosphere. Get in touch with email@example.com with any questions.
