About me
Hello! I am Jessie Yeung (she/they), your 26/27 International Students Officer. I'm from Hong Kong and I moved to the UK in 2021. I come from an activist background and you may see me on campus walking around with my keffiyeh. I am passionate about climate, decolonial and social justice.
My role entails all things international students! On a day-to-day basis, my role includes building community, challenging racism and xenophobia, as well as ensuring International students' academic satisfaction and wellbeing. Ultimately, I hope to be a friendly face on campus that can represent international students.
