Academic Reps are the elected students who represent their cohorts on academic issues to the University and help make positive change to improve the student experience.

Faculty Reps

Faculty Reps represent the issues and priorities of students in their faculty to staff at both faculty and university level. They do this by gathering feedback from Course Reps and other students, chairing Faculty Student Staff Liaison Committee meetings, joining Bristol SU’s Student Representatives' Assembly alongside SU democratic events and some Faculty Reps also represent students at University committees like Senate.

What I'm working on:

Strengthening collaboration between course reps, school reps, and the faculty to ensure every student voice is heard and working to improve transparency in decision-making and making sure feedback drives real and visible change
Advocating fairer exam timetabling, clearer assessment feedback, and consistent access to personal tutors across all schools. Aiming to reduce barriers that affect student wellbeing and ensure support is equitable across disciplines
Creating stronger connections between Engineering students, staff, and industry. This includes rep socials, faculty-wide events, and industry engagement to enhance employability, community spirit, and collaboration across schools
