We celebrated our centenary this year, but as well as looking back at the past, we’ve looked ahead to our future as we’ve used feedback and data to shape our strategy for the next three years, which we’ll be launching soon.
We’ve continued to develop our partnership work with the University of Bristol. The UEB (University Executive Board) agreement has been a big part of this year’s success for Bristol SU, providing a shared framework that enabled officers and university staff to work together more effectively for the benefit of students.
We’ve continued to see increased levels of engagement and satisfaction across the board, including a record breaking (and sector-leading) elections vote turnout in our officer elections. We’ve responded to student needs by making significant progress on the recommendations of our Code of Conduct review, preparing to launch our new housing advice service, opening another sensory room and launched the We’re Here campaign, a city-wide initiative supporting survivors of sexual violence.
We’ve made great progress in 2024-25, we're excited by our new strategy and the plans that we have for the future and we're determined to realise our vision.
