Come to a **FREE **Model United Nations (MUN) give it a go event and join in or watch one of our weekly geopolitical debates, they’re beginner-friendly and no previous experience is necessary! We hold debates simulating the real United Nations on a wide range of issues such as climate change, international disputes, and the occasional alien invasion. The goal: to reach consensus and pass resolutions, preferably without starting a war! Every Tuesday evening we introduce the basics of MUN, and then discuss a different topic each week where everybody speaks from the point of view of the UN country they’re representing. You’re free to contribute as much or as little as you like; whether you want to debate passionately or just watch, we strongly encourage you to come along! So if you often find yourself doomscrolling the news at 3am or reckon you could be the next Kissinger, Clinton, or Kofi Annan, come to one of our Tuesday sessions (20:00 to 21:30, Senate House 5.20)!
