🌟 Congratulations to our current winners Malaysian Cultural Society! 🌟
Malaysian Cultural Society have been nominated January Group of the Month for their outstanding work in hosting SEADay (Southeast Asian Day) The day brought together seven Southeast Asian societies for an event that set out to both connect people from across the region and introduce the wider Bristol community to its rich cultures. With around four hundred people attending, many of whom were not already involved with any of the societies, the event genuinely opened doors to new cultural experiences and new connections. Guests were treated to a range of traditional dishes, a lively quiz and live music that created a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout. While the event was built around community building, it also highlighted the depth of equality, diversity and inclusion within Bristol.

What are the nomination criteria?
Nominations must be for an event or activity that:
- Is run by a Bristol SU affiliated Student Group
- Has happened in the last month
- Has made a significant impact on members or the wider community
- Aligns with Bristol SU values (Equality, Diversity & Inclusion / Wellbeing / Community / Sustainability / Fun)
Who can nominate a group?
Nominations can be made by anyone who is proud of the achievements the group has made in the past month. This could be a committee member, group member, a supporter or even a partner the group collaborates with.
