Current Winners
🌟 Congratulations to our current winners Bristol University Latin American and Ballroom Dancing Society🌟
- Delivering Bristol SU’s first ever Strictly Come Dancing‑style showcase 'Strictly Come Bristol' a landmark event collaborating with 10 Bristol SU societies.
- 200 attendees from a plethora of Bristol SU student groups, delivering a full evening of entertainment featuring 10 celebrity pro routines alongside two high energy opening and closing performances by BULABDS’ own dancers.
- Raised almost £800 for charity through a pooled donation system, with each couple championing a different cause; the winning celebrity, Bristol DramSoc’s Vice President, donated the full amount to Actatheatre.
- Created a vibrant cross society atmosphere, with positive feedback from student members, all expressing a strong desire to see Strictly Come Bristol to return as an annual tradition

What are the nomination criteria?
Nominations must be for an event or activity that:
- Is run by a Bristol SU affiliated Student Group
- Has happened in the last month
- Has made a significant impact on members or the wider community
- Aligns with Bristol SU values (Equality, Diversity & Inclusion / Wellbeing / Community / Sustainability / Fun)
Who can nominate a group?
Nominations can be made by anyone who is proud of the achievements the group has made in the past month. This could be a committee member, group member, a supporter or even a partner the group collaborates with.
