JazzFunkSoul Bristol is proud to present our first open jam night of 2024! Musicians, come join us to make new friends and jam in a hugely supportive and friendly environment in front of the most enthusiastic crowd you’ll ever play to. From Stevie Wonder to Charlie Parker, we welcome players of all abilities and music tastes, but if you’re nervous about improvising with people you’ve just met, turn up with some tune suggestions you love and we’ll be sure to accommodate you. Horn players must bring their own instruments, but keys, drums, guitar and bass are all provided. Singers are also more than welcome! The jam begins at 9 and continues all the way until midnight, but feel free to turn up at any time. The jam gets busier and busier as the night goes on, so turn up early if you’re nervous about performing in front of large crowds. Not a musician? Then turn up anyway for three hours of brilliant live music, cheap drinks, and an incredible atmosphere at Mr Wolfs. Come and party (for free) with 100’s of other students at Bristol’s biggest Tuesday night out, and stay until midnight for a DJ set to finish the night with a bang!
