Welfare during Halal Slaughter- Dr Awal Fuseini

Join UBAWS for an online talk with Dr Awal Fuseini on improving welfare during Halal slaughter. 

Awal holds a PhD in animal welfare and meat science from Bristol University, his research interests centre around improving animal welfare at slaughter and evaluating consumer behaviour.

Halal slaughter is a topic which has the potential to cause a lot of confusion amongst vets, consumers, farmers and industry professionals. This event will give you the opportunity to learn from a leading expert in the field and will explain how animal welfare itself is a key concept of Halal.

EMS: As this is an online event it does not meet the requirements set by the EMS office.
