Stoke Bishop volunteering

Hello everyone!!! For this years volunteering week we will be hosting a woodland volunteering session at Stoke Bishop. This will involve brash clearance, coppicing and hopefully dead hedging at Shaplands (Just opposite the North Village car park). Ticketholders will receive a safety briefing via email on the days coming up, aswell as an in person briefing on the day. In addition, any cancellations due to weather will be sent to individuals the evening before, however it is important to note that we will not go forward with the session if there is a yellow weather warning. To make sure that everyone is safe and comfortable for the physical work on the day, volunteers will need to wear appropriate clothing that includes:

Closed-toe shoes (no sandals or open footwear). Footwear has to be sturdy, such as hiking boots. If volunteers arrive with the wrong footwear, they will not be permitted to work.

Long trousers and long sleeves that you don't mind getting dirty (strongly recommended).

Waterproof coats and refillable bottles (strongly recommended).

All other safety equipment (gloves, etc) will be provided.

Music and snacks will be there as always. Lets all have fun guys!!!!!!!!!
