Issue 21 Radical Hope

Issue 21 Radical Hope

From the editors' letter:

"The idea for the theme of Radical Hope came from last year's arts editor, Eliot, who pointed us to this quote from writer Jonathan Lear:

"What makes this hope radical is that it is directed toward a future goodness that transcends the current ability to understand what it is. What would it be for such hope to be justified?"

Radical Hope was born out of a time of outrage, hurt and frustration at the world. It was born out of a belief that we can make a change and carve out a better world if er channel our anger into resistance and action. ...

The art, poetry, and articles that our contributors produced reflect body image, mental health and relationships. Taking the concept inwad, this zine shows how many of seek to be radically hopeful in protecting our own sanity and happiness. ...

We hope that as you peruse this zine, you find yourselves as inspired as we were in putting it together"
