Time to Represent Your Halls! Bristol SU Elections. Apply Now!
Nominate Yourself Election Rules Election FAQs

There's still time to apply for JCR roles in Print Hall and The Courtrooms during the by-election. Nominations close at 17:00 on Tuesday 15 October.

Junior Common Room committee members are elected students, that form a committee with the purpose to improve the overall student experience in halls.

This is your chance to do one of the best volunteer roles at the university. You'll be able to decide what the biggest events of the year look like for your hall of residence. Want to run a trip to watch Bristol City? You can do it. Want to host a fancy formal? You can do it. Want a beautiful summer barbecue? You can do it.

There are three positions in a JCR committee: President, VP Finance and VP Events. These are some of the most important student roles at the university, a great CV builder, and a great way to get out there and meet new people. You'll be the people building community in your hall of residence.

It's a role that you can shape, and that only takes a couple of hours each week. But the rewards are huge and you'll have support every step of the way from the Student Communities team.

It's time to represent your halls. Nominate yourself to be one of the three members of your Halls JCR Committee.
