About Us
We are the Bristol Revunions, the society dedicated to all things comedy with a focus on sketch and stand-up! We encourage people to get involved in performing and writing comedy in a friendly, welcoming environment.
We hold free workshops every Monday 6-8pm in Anson Rooms 2 which are a really relaxed, fun way for everyone – regardless of any previous sketch-making experience – to get together, play a few silly games, and try to write some sketches. There’s no pressure to perform and the focus is on enjoying yourself rather than being funny, have no fear!
Membership Details
Our yearly membership costs only £5 and allows you to perform with us, as well as discounted tickets to shows and a few extra special workshops throughout the year!
We welcome anyone and everyone, whether you're a seasoned performer or just love being silly and want to try it out- this is a judgement-free zone!
Workshops
Our weekly workshops are FREE for EVERYONE! Workshop topics include: sketch writing, performing, tech, stand up; as well as some special guest workshops throughout the year! Workshop content will always be posted to our Whatsapp group earlier in the day so you can decide if it's for you.
Come and join us in the Richmond Building Anson Rooms 2 every Monday from 6-8pm for some fun, games, and lots of laughs.
Shows
Historically we have put on a wide variety of shows over the year in Bristol and we aim to do the same this year, so there are loads of opportunities to get involved. Our monthly Dynamite show in Bristol Folk House happens on the last Tuesday of every month and is a low stakes environment to watch and perform stand up and sketches with Bristol Improv Society.
We also have Halloween, Christmas and Women and Minority Gender sketch shows; you can catch us performing at Leeds, Cambridge and Edinburgh Fringe Festival!
