We are delighted to announce that we are welcoming professionals from a variety of sustainability and climate-related roles for an informal mingling session at the Balloon Bar!
Students - now more than ever - want to find meaningful jobs that allow them to contribute positively to the world, but they are not often showcased the many ways that they can contribute to the issues they care about. A just transition requires a variety of voices, and young adults should be participants in creating this future vision.
In an informal networking sessions, you will be able to mingle, share your experiences, and get to know about new initiatives, projects and organisations that are contributing to a more sustainable and equitable future. We will also hold a brief panel with sustainability professionals and volunteers, to answer student questions about what does it mean to work in 'sustainability'.
The aim is to lower barriers to involvement, by raising awareness on the numerous ways one can contribute to a sustainable future.
