Then join us on Saturday 21st February from 10:15-4:30pm for this year’s South West Paediatrics Medical Student Conference!
We welcome medical students and allied healthcare professional students from Plymouth, Exeter and Bristol university to this event. Tickets are £5 and all proceeds are going towards the amazing Bristol-based charity Cots for Tots, who provide support and accommodation for families whose babies are in NICU at St Michael’s Hospital. We will also be running a bake sale throughout the day, and a raffle with some amazing prizes up for grabs!
Please arrive promptly to the front entrance of the Queens Building at 10:15am so that we can register you and start the conference on time.
The morning part of the conference will include various talks from paediatricians including Dr Dan Magnus, a Consultant emergency medicine clinician with an interest in global paediatric health and medical education, Dr Fozia Saeed, a paediatric neurosurgery registrar, and many more… They will be sharing insights into their careers and advice on how to get involved in paediatrics!
We will be running a poster presentation competition during the lunch break, so please sign up using this link if you have a poster related to paediatrics that you would like to present: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc6kkxOqMaxGS7gxU6mZRVx7HUOls1wMVsLbJap_65hDCG9Og/viewform?usp=header
