Five Open Water Sessions
All theory lectures, exams and the Basic Life Support session are to be held on Thursday evenings from 18:30-19:30. There will not be a theory session during Reading Week. The pool session will be on a Saturday from 17:00-21:00 later in TB1. We will confirm an exact schedule shortly. Open water sessions can be completed on club trips or specific training trips. To complete the course it is important that you are willing to join the sessions you are signing up for. We will provide every opportunity for you to complete training throughout the year. All lessons are assessed against skills performance standards which sometimes means students require more lessons than specified to complete the course. If you do not complete the training within the academic year, then you can continue in the next, however, you will be required to purchase another annual membership for UBUC and BSAC.
If you have any questions, please contact:
Alex Elwood (Training Officer) for any questions about the course.
