Flexibility flow stretch class with Estelle!

 

Unwind your body and clear your mind in this deep stretch, flexibility flow class!

Led by Estelle, a certified grade 7 acrobat, former contortionist, and competitive dancer, currently in her 2nd year at UoB!

These bimonthly sessions will invite you to explore the art of fluidity, stretching through the body in continuous movements. These sessions should make you feel more connected to yourself and your body.
They will provide you with the foundation for tricks, improve your alignment, and gently extend your range of movement. We will also have classes dedicated to progressions for particular skills.

In this class, there will be a focus on back flexibility and conditioning; all moves will be adaptable to match your level. We will also be doing partner stretching to allow you to feel relaxed and comfortable around your fellow soc members!

Whether you have experience with flexibility training or are a complete beginner, our classes provide a safe space for you to build up that confidence.

Make sure to wear comfortable active wear for optimal movement!


What to expect:

-️ A variety of stretches dedicated to aerial and pole progression

-️ Flexibility flow classes which will help to decompress your body and improve you alignment

-Workshops for specific skills eg chest stands or to a particular theme eg contortion
