Coronary heart disease is the UK's single biggest killer but the British Heart Foundation is leading the fight against it. We aim to beat heartbreak forever and create a world in which people do not die prematurely or suffer from heart and circulatory diseases. However you choose to volunteer your time helps us to save lives.
Our Bristol shops and stores sell new and donated furniture, electricals, books, clothes, music, vinyl, films, board games and more… and they couldn’t continue to fight heart and circulatory diseases without volunteers giving 2 or 3 hours when possible each week. Your support powers our research. Every minute of your time you can spare will help make a massive difference to people's lives. Thank you.
Are you looking for administration and logistics experience in 2024 and want to join a friendly team when it fits around your studies? With lots of support from the Kingswood Furniture team, you will be the first point of contact for customers, helping with enquiries, arranging our vans to carry out local collections of donations across Bristol and explaining our Gift Aid scheme.
You will also be using our online collections system to process online donation requests and helping organise our van teams. Full training is provided and we like to have fun!
Say hello to the team:
Funding for PHD students and BHF researchers based in Bristol begins at your local charity shop. Now, more than ever, we are in urgent need of volunteers to enable us to continue our life saving research and help the 7.6 million people in the UK living with heart and circulatory diseases. This wouldn’t be possible without our fantastic volunteers.
Our Kingswood team led by Luke, Jack and Billy are a friendly bunch, and we are looking forward to welcoming new volunteers in 2024 to our growing team!
