As a student at the University of Bristol, your voice matters. Whether it’s a small tweak or a big change, your ideas can shape the student experience for everyone.
We know that some of the best ideas come directly from you, students who are in lectures, in societies, and living university life every day. That’s why we’ve launched the Ideas Board: a space where your thoughts can spark real change.
Our Ideas Board follows a community organising model, where collective action leads to meaningful impact. Once you submit your idea, you’ll be able to track its journey, from submission to action, right on the Bristol SU website.
It’s designed to spotlight student-led ideas and make sure they’re heard, considered, and acted on efficiently.
Before you submit…
Please read the guidelines carefully. Ideas are reviewed by a member of staff and must meet the following criteria:
Be submitted by a current University of Bristol student
Align with our charitable purposes and follow Ultra Vires
Comply with our Code of Conduct
Be between 20 and 100 words
If your idea relates to an academic issue, please speak to your Academic Rep first. You can find your rep using the Rep Finder tool.
Approval of ideas can take up to 5 working days. If we need more time to review, we’ll keep you updated.
Submit your idea today and be part of the change.
