BioMed Summer Formal at Browns Brasserie on 22nd May 2026

BioMed Society Summer Formal

Come along and celebrate the end of the year with your fellow biomed friends at browns.

Please make one selection for your main and dessert.

- Mains (GF = Gluten Free) -

RIBEYE (280G) (SUPPLEMENT of £10) (GF)  - Served with fries and dressed watercress.

PRAWN & CHORIZO LINGUINE (Can be GF with Penne) - King prawns, tomato & basil sauce, cherry vine tomatoes, spinach, charred lemon.

TRADITIONAL FISH & CHIPS - Fresh haddock, triple-cooked chips, pea & mint purée, parsley salt, tartare sauce. 

CHICKEN CAESAR SALAD - Little Gem lettuce, Cos & chicory leaves, sourdough croutons, Parmesan, salted anchovies, Caesar dressing.

RISOTTO VERDE (ve) (GF) - Asparagus, courgette, peas, basil pesto, capers, pumpkin seeds, charred lemon.

PAN-FRIED SEABASS & POTATO SALAD (GF) - Rocket & fennel salad, horseradish crème fraîche potato salad.

CHICKEN & AVOCADO SALAD (GF) - Pancetta, avocado, Parmesan, lemon & mustard dressing.

- Desserts (GF = Gluten Free) - 

APPLE & RHUBARB CRUMBLE (v) (Can be made GF) - With ginger ice cream.

BELGIAN CHOCOLATE MOUSSE (v) - With sable biscuit or Amarena wild cherries (GF).

VANILLA CRÈME BRÛLÉE (v) (GF) - With fresh berries.

SALTED CARAMEL PROFITEROLES (v) - With Toffee sauce.

ICE CREAM (v) (GF) - Three scoops of vanilla, chocolate, stem ginger or honeycomb ice cream, or raspberry sorbet, with a sable biscuit.
