Bristol SU recognises that the costs of participating in student groups can be prohibitively expensive for some students. The Activity Hardship Fund was created to support those students who wouldn't otherwise be able to participate in their chosen activity due to the cost.

Hello and welcome to the UoB BioMed Society!
As your society, we promise to deliver a wide range of inclusive socials, engaging and relevant careers events and many an excellent opportunity to get to know your course-mates. Whether you're into fancy formals or pub quizzes, topical discussions or tropical cocktails we aim to provide something for everyone!
As we are a life-science, we often have joint socials with our sister-society The Cell (CMM) and this year we aim to hold more collaborative socials with lots of other groups too so be prepared for all manner of fun collabs.

Membership Details
We offer two memberships: The 1 Year Earlybird Membership for £8, which is only avaibale to purchase until the 30th September 2025, and the standard 2025-26 Membership for £11, available all year round. Both memberships are valid from September 2025 - July 2026.
Membership is available to those on the Biomedical Sciences course and people who just have an interest in the subject area!
