Welcome to BULABDS - Bristol University Latin American and Ballroom Dance Society! Here you can learn all of the classic strictly dances, whilst having fun and meeting new people along the way! Our GIAG Takeover Day session will include a demonstration of our Ballroom and Latin dances from a variety of our dancers. This will be followed by an energetic but simple Jive lesson to get everyone on their feet and learning some basic steps! The choreography will be simple repetitive steps including side steps, turns and leg kicks. To keep things exciting and interesting, we will be swapping partners every few steps to give everyone the opportunity to dance with a range of people, including our more experienced members! Anyone of any dance ability can come along! There is no specific attire required, we recommend comfy breathable clothes and trainers, and you'll see some of our sparkly outfits from our competitive couples! We hope to see you there!
