Friday 13-03-2026 - 18:41

A record-breaking election (again)

The results are in for the 2026 Bristol SU Elections, and once again Bristol students have turned out in record numbers to have their say.

Over the past four days, thousands of students across the University of Bristol voted for the representatives who will make impact for the Students’ Union during the 2026/27 academic year.

This year’s election has smashed Bristol SU’s turnout record, continuing an amazing run of students getting involved and making their voices heard. With more students voting than ever before, Bristol SU once again has one of the highest election turnouts in the country for Students’ Union elections.

A huge thank you to everyone who voted, ran as a candidate, supported campaigns, or helped spread the word. Your involvement is what makes the work at Bristol SU so important and helps shape the future of student life here at Bristol Uni.

The stage is set...
