Looking to make a difference, meet new people, and boost your CV? The Bristol SU Volunteering Fair is back and it’s bigger than ever 💥
Join us on Wednesday 8 October in the Anson Rooms for an afternoon of inspiration and new opportunities. With over 40 local organisations attending, you’ll find volunteering roles to suit every interest, from working with young people and environmental conservation to charity shops and social impact projects.
Whether you're after a regular commitment, a one-off experience, or even something online you can do from your room, there's something for everyone.
“You’ll find regular volunteering roles, one-offs and even online roles you can do from the comfort of your own room! All while you make a difference, meet new people and improve your CV.”
– Phoebe, Volunteering and Skills Coordinator at Bristol SU
Volunteering isn’t just about giving back. It’s a great way to develop skills, build confidence, and enhance your employability. If you sign up for the PLUS Award and log your hours, your volunteering can even be formally recognised on your degree transcript.
Prefer a quieter experience? The final hour (5–6pm) will be a low-sensory space with reduced numbers and no music.
