Rep of the Month: January
Congratulations to Jacobus Petrus Van der Merwe, winning our January Rep of the Month award!
Jacobus has gone above and beyond in his roles as Year 1 Business and Management Rep and Undergraduate Business School Rep, making a real impact on the student experience.
His varied work has touched several key areas, most notably championing “Yet to be Heard” voices through his involvement in the Bristol Teaching Awards and his contributions to the Business School Equity Committee. His efforts have helped foster a real sense of belonging for under-represented students 💪
Jacobus has also worked closely with the Dean of the Business School on module redesign and assessment variet, an excellent example of harnessing the power of representation and co-creation. His commitment to ensuring students receive the right detail and support demonstrates exactly what we value in our Reps of the Month.
