Coffee season is here! ☕
Whether you are catching up with friends after the holidays, getting a head start on TB2 or taking some downtime to ease yourself into life back in Bristol. Heading out to a cafe for a drink is always a nice idea!
This week we sat down with the Full-Time Officer team to get their recommendations on where they like to go for a brew 🌟

Katie your Union Affairs Officer likes to stay local for her coffee! Coffee and Beer on Cotham Hill is her go too, where she orders a latte, and of course…a sweet treat! 🥐
Mia your Undergraduate Education officer said that she is not a coffee kinda girl, so her go too is a pot of Jasmine Tea from Boston Tea Party on Park Street! It’s close to university and they have plenty of space to catch up with friends.
For a warming hot chocolate, Ella your Sport and Development officer loves to go to Burra! Located at the top of Whiteladies road, this Australian inspired coffee shop is a great spot to check out ☕
Lucy is keeping it local and can be found queuing in Chaya Canteen for a coffee, just around the corner from the ASSL Library 🌿
Sharan is not part of the coffee club, but is always up for a Thai Bubble Tea with condensed milk from Jo's Tea on Park Row 🧋
Have you seen various bake sales and drinks stands pop up around campus? Sometimes these are set up by our Student Groups! Purchasing a sweet treat or a drink from here is Jessie's go too.
Finally, its time for a bargain! Linlu reccomends Black Sheep Coffee where you can grab a £2 Matcha on Mondays ☕
Whatever your order, remember to take some time out this Jan.
Sit down with a book or podcast, catch up with some friends or just enjoy some alone time. Settle into TB2 and remember to keep an eye out for all the other events we have on offer, or check out a day trip if you want to get out of Bristol for the day! 🚌
