Bring some calm and self-healing to your Thursday morning with this professionally-taught class combining Thai Chi and Qigong š Tai Chi is a mind-body practice that combines gentle, physical exercise and stretching with mindfulness which is why it's often referred to as āmeditation in motionā. Bring a morning of peace to your Welcome Week with this amazing opportunity. The class will include a half-hour short intro talk and Qigong warming up, posture and clearing exercises. There will then be a half-hour Tai Chi short sequence of moves and half an hour of winding down breathing exercises and quietening mind/meditation type exercises. Join us to look at the link between posture and emotions and how to use the body to support the mind.
