Bristol SU recognises that the costs of participating in student groups can be prohibitively expensive for some students. The Activity Hardship Fund was created to support those students who wouldn't otherwise be able to participate in their chosen activity due to the cost.

On behalf of the Bristol Asian Society, we are committed to encouraging equality and diversity within our society, whether that be for our committee or our members. We strongly believe that Asian culture should be celebrated by everyone, and it is consequently in our best interest to display its merits to all, regardless of their background. We, therefore, aim to ensure that people of non-Asian descent feel accepted, welcome and respected at our society's events and socials, and in the upcoming academic year we will strive to match, if not better, our number of non-Asian members to increase the diversity within the group.
On behalf of the Bristol Asian Society, our understanding of sustainability branches further than just recycling - we believe it is about making the world a happy and healthy place for everyone, both now and in the future. Sustainability is, therefore, one of our core values, and we are completely committed to reducing our social, economic, and environmental impact both locally and globally. We believe that a collective effort from all societies will accelerate this sustainability improvement, so we will do our best to encourage it when we can. Specifically for our society, we endeavour to make a difference in the upcoming academic year by conserving energy and money in all of our future event plans.
