
Welcome to Bristol Uni Athletics & Cross Country Club!!
Whether you’re a first-time jogger or an international athlete, this is the club for you! We’re a student-led club catering to all abilities of distance runner, sprinter, jumper, or thrower. We take pride in being a very inclusive and welcoming club with sessions for everyone, from relaxed, chatty social runs to structured distance performance and sprint training sessions. We also offer circuit strength and conditioning sessions and even a weekly swimming session - perfect for building strength, preventing injury and adding variety to your training. On the socials side, again, we have something for everyone! From exciting Wednesday evening socials that end with a club night out to frequent wholesome post-run coffees and brunches, there are plenty of opportunities to make friends and be part of the UBACCC community.

Our Memberships:
Full Club Membership 2026-27 (£45 til 27/9/26 with early bird 15% discount)
This includes:
- Socials and formals
- 10% off at the White Bear, Hope & Anchor and The Lion all day everyday.*
- Social runs (Monday, Wednesday) and Long run (Sunday)
- Access to tickets for Events and trips
- Distance performance and sprints/field training sessions
- Access to tickets for BUCS competitions
- Weekly Core/Strength and conditioning sessions
- Free entry into all Gwent League Cross-Country fixtures
- Weekly Swim sessions in the SU pool
- Use of university gym (indoor sports centre) changing rooms and lockers
Our full membership includes free use of the Whitehall athletics track during our allocated times only. This is currently tuesday and thursday evenings year-round for sprinters and field athletes, and Friday evenings post-Easter for distance athletes. Distance performance sessions are ran on road (Portway) on Tuesdays, and on grass on the downs on Saturday's until Easter, where we transition to Coombe Dingle and Track sessions.
The SEH pass enables club members to use university sport facilities (inc. Coombe Dingle where we train after Easter, the pool, gym studio rooms, gym lockers and changing rooms) and enables athletes to compete in BUCS competitions. It is a mandatory part of the full membership, and goes to the university, not the club. It will be added at checkout (£26).

Prior to signing up to a Club or Society speak to the Committee to find out what your membership includes and if there are any further expenses throughout the year.

When joining a club or society you are agreeing to abide by the constitution, general rules, regulations and policies of University of Bristol Students’ Union and also the Club or Society Code of Conduct which sets out the level of behaviour & discipline expected of all Club & Society members.
Any customer who pays for a membership subscription to a Bristol SU Society, Sports Club, Student Media and initiatives has a 14 day cooling off period from the time and date of purchase during which they have the right to cancel the subscription and receive a full refund. If you do decide to cancel within the 14 days, Bristol SU will refund your payment within a further 30 days of the cancellation. To request a refund please email: bristolsu@bristol.ac.uk
Please be aware that Bristol SU may share data relating to the members of its sports clubs with the Centre for Sport, Exercise and Health (a department of the University). This information may be used for the purposes of communicating direct with these members and/or to cross-reference against SEH's Sports Pass membership records.
As part of Bristol SU's membership of British Universities & Colleges Sports (BUCS) Bristol SU may have to share data on to its sports clubs members so BUCS can, from time to time, communicate with these members.
