Bristol Doctor Who Society were mentioned in the August 2025 edition of Doctor Who Magazine for our creation of and involvement in Whoniversity Challenge, an international competition between university Doctor Who Societies. Bristol were the sole administrators of the competition, and came third overall. The 2024-25 contest was run by current Whosoc president Eleanor Flower, but will be administrated by a dedicated 'Whoniversity Officer' on the committee for the 2025-26 season.
