BUMPS is a UoBristol student ran society all about making music. We're a BRAND NEW society founded 2026, and open to producers, instrumentalists, vocalists of all genres and abilities

WHAT WE OFFER:
🐫 weekly production sessions (elaborated below vvv)
🐫 open, fee whatsapp groupchat, as a chance to network with other students interested in making music (AND the ability for anyone to form their own subgroups!)
🐫 semi-regular socials and society events
🐫 silly beat making challenges
🐫 more serious production competitions (with the potential for cash prizes)
🐫 a LOT of shared info that can be excitedly provided for established and aspiring music neeks alike 🤓

OUR WEEKLY SESSIONS:
We run 2 hour sessions from 6-8pm every friday evening in room 4.70, Richmond Building. The sessions range in topics, often democratically decided by whatsapp votes. You can typically expect some combination of beginner tutorials, track share & feedback sessions, technical workshops, remix competitions or silly beat making challenges (we honestly have so many ideas for these). We try balance session topics to cater for all abilities.

now you know all about BUMPS, you're surely keen for a membership. In this section we'll hopefully rely all the details to do with that 😎

MEMBER BENEFITS:
alright, this seems like the sort of thing best layed out in one of those tick diagram things, y'know like member vs non-member? So ehh yeah we haven't made that yet but should be on here soon...

Society events should hopefully all come through here... Check 'em out below vvvv
