Have you ever realised that there are groups of people ringing the bells in towers across the country? Do you enjoy having a backstage look at some of the most historical buildings in the UK? Would you like to pick up a fun, mental and physical skill and a whole group of friends along with it? Then try our Change Ringing Give it a Go session! The session, held at St Matthew's Church, Clare Road, BS6 5TB, will be in two groups lasting ~40 mins each (so you can also turn up for 19:15 if that works better for you), where you will be able to kickstart your bellringing journey by being taught how to ring the bells by one of our student instructors. We will also tell you all about our extensive social calendar across the year, including seasonal parties, outings, and pub crawls! You won't need to bring anything, just turn up in trainers and casual clothing (however we advise against dresses). You'll be able to experience a taste of a hobby not many know about, but get hooked as soon as they try it!
