Bristol SU recognises that the costs of participating in student groups can be prohibitively expensive for some students. The Activity Hardship Fund was created to support those students who wouldn't otherwise be able to participate in their chosen activity due to the cost.
About Us
Welcome to Helix! We are the official biochemistry society for the University of Bristol. Open to those studying biochemistry, or those with a interest in the field, we are here to provide fun socials, formals, careers support, and more!
By joining Helix, you will have access to our regular social events (such as pub crawls, club nights, coffee mornings, arts and crafts sessions, etc.), academic support events (including alumni talks, CV support, and networking events), a range of subcommunities (Women in STEM, LGBTQ+, and BAME), and our ever-popular family scheme, which kicks off the year with a Bristol-wide scavenger hunt! We also run summer and winter formals each year with discounted tickets for members!
