Bristol SU recognises that the costs of participating in student groups can be prohibitively expensive for some students. The Activity Hardship Fund was created to support those students who wouldn't otherwise be able to participate in their chosen activity due to the cost.
We host weekly socials on Wednesday nights, ranging from Scavenger Hunts and Ou est le Poulet to Curry nights and Charity Shop swaps! We always finish with a trip to our home club Larocca, who provide discounts on drinks and entry for Squash members.
We also host multiple sober socials a term, including a run club and coffee meetups. Quizzes and video game nights are always a hit!
Black tie formals take place at the end of each term, alongside our yearly “Squestival”, a weekend of Squash and drinks for both current and former members.
Our yearly Squash Tour is a great end to the year; a weeklong holiday (with no Squash!) in a tropical destination (Alicante, Barcelona, Athens to name a few!).
